2023 Lifetime Achievement Award
The 2023 Annual Holiday Dinner was a great success.
As always, Jimmy’s Café served up some fantastic food and then the NMSSF honored the 2023 Lifetime Achievement Award recipients, with one of them being our own, Bertha Martinez. Many thanks to Ona Porter for doing a beautiful presentation for Bertha, Andrea Lima for nominating Bertha, NM Senior Olympics for the beautiful bouquet, the NM Senior Sports Foundation, Hazel Tull-Leach, Former Coaches, Michelle, and Christine, and all our awesome Canyon Nets from all age groups present cheering and supporting Bertha as she received her award. (Marie was there too, all the way from Las Vegas but, wasn’t present at the time of pic time. ) Speaking of presents, there was the white elephant gift exchange and there were many steals and laughs! It was an all-around grand time.
NM Senior Olympics
2026 is a Qualifying year. This November tournament is an opporunity to quialify for the 2027 National Senior Games in Tulsa, Oklahoma. New Mexico Senior Olympics website.
